I believe US foreign policy currently does not benefit the citizens of the United States and we should be appalled at our politician’s actions to further intervene in the other countries’ affairs while enriching themselves by taking donations from foreign entities. The USA should not be involved in other nation’s affairs unless there is a direct danger to US soil or danger to US citizens. If there is a dire danger to US citizens due to an outbreak of violence in that country that was unforeseen we should attempt to assist the citizens in returning to the US safely.
If a citizen chooses to stay or goes to a place of conflict willingly those citizens should be allowed to do so with the knowledge that the US will not be interfering with foreign conflicts and will not be able to guarantee their safety.
